The Hastings Free Beach Concert is now in its 21st year and is staged in the first full weekend of every August as part of the Hastings Old Town Carnival Week. In 2009 it will be staged on Saturday 1st August between 2 - 8 p.m. and Sunday 2nd August between 2 - 7 p.m.

The site is located on the beach at the Hastings Old Town Lifeboat Stade, behind the East Hastings Sea Angling Association building and next to the R.N.L.I. Lifeboat Station.

There are food and drink stalls on site as well as a bar with very reasonable prices. There is a supervised  childrens´ play area  on site. The British Red Cross is in attendance for both days. Smoking cessation goodies, details and advice are available as is free suncream. There is on-site security at all times.  Public toilets are located close by and are open for the duration of the days´ events.
